Missing Pictures started out as an instrumental track by our friend in Sacramento (Wild Dinosaur.) They lent us the master files and we went to town- chopping up the sections, adding synths, adding dulcimer and most importantly- telling a story through lyrics. We believe they like it, as Wild Dinosaur recently performed this track live using the lyrics that Change! created!
Can not seem to locate
Missing pictures of an old friend
Safe inside some secret drawer
Beneath the loose boards on the floor
Can not seem to locate
Missing pictures, missing girlfriend
Just an old t-shirt that you wore
Just a whisper, nothing more
Longing to hold you
Missing pictures, where'd you go?
Been dreaming of you
But I lost the picture long ago
November used to be my favorite month
Until the day we broke up
Now, its stuffing with no love
Those heartfelt moments merely crumbs
If I'd see you once again
Dead leaves crumble and descend
There'd be a place to store the pain
Lost in poems of your name
Longing to hold you
Missing pictures where'd you go
Been dreaming of you
When memories are all we know
Longing to touch you
Missing pictures, where'd you go
I'd be dreaming of you
But I lost the picture long ago
And if I found that polaroid
Of you and I at the skating rink
I'd truly die
